InTheTab Images stay on your device

JPG to PDF without uploading

Turn photos and scans into one PDF right here in your browser. Each image becomes a page. Your files never leave this tab, so it’s safe for passports, ID cards and receipts.

How to turn JPG images into a PDF

      1. Choose your images. Click the box above and pick one or more photos. You can add more in a second go. They open in this tab; nothing is sent anywhere.
      2. Put them in order. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown. Use the arrows to move an image up or down, or the cross to remove it.
      3. Create and download. Pick a page size and margin, then press Create PDF and save the file.

      Good to know

      • JPG, PNG, HEIC and more. Any image your browser can open works, including WebP. iPhone HEIC photos work in every browser: Chrome and Firefox download a small decoder the first time you use one.
      • Photos come out the right way up. Phone pictures are turned using the rotation saved in the photo, so they don’t end up sideways.
      • PNGs are kept exactly. PNG images go into the PDF unchanged. Other formats are saved as JPEG at 92% quality, which looks the same to the eye but isn’t pixel-perfect.
      • Page size. “Same as image” makes each page the size of its picture. A4 and US Letter fit the image on the paper, centred, and turn the page to landscape for wide images.
      • Scanning a passport or ID? Choose A4 or US Letter with a small margin, so the PDF prints at a normal paper size.

Your images stay on your device

Most online converters upload your photos to their servers. Here, the PDF is built inside this browser tab, using the open-source pdf-lib library.

The page’s security policy tells your browser to block uploads, so your images can’t leave your device even by accident. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, watch the Network tab, and create a PDF. How InTheTab works

You’ll also see a few small requests to Google Analytics. That’s our visit counter, and it never receives your files. Privacy policy

      Questions

Is it safe to convert a passport or ID scan here?

Yes. The images are read and turned into a PDF by your own browser and are never uploaded. We never get your files or text: the site has no accounts, and its only analytics, Google Analytics, counts visits without ever seeing what you add here.

Can I put several photos into one PDF?

Yes. Pick as many images as you like. Each one becomes a page, in the order shown in the list, and you can reorder or remove them before creating the PDF.

Does it work with iPhone photos?

Yes. HEIC photos from an iPhone work in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Chrome and Firefox load a small decoder the first time, which runs in the tab like everything else.

Do I need to install anything or sign up?

No. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iPhone. It’s free, there’s no sign-up and no watermark is added.
